Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon

Scrapped coconut: 1/2 cup
Coriander finely chopped
Salt to taste
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
1. Take some water in a pan and bring it to a boil. Then put the washed raw bananas into water with the skin along.
2. Let the banana simmer in for a 5-10 minutes. When the banana's skin changes color then they are almost done. Turn off the flame and let them cool. Meanwhile remove the potatoes skin and grate them. When the banana are cool, remove their skin and grate them as well.
3. Then take a bowl and add grated potatoes, grated banana, green chilies, cumin powder, roasted peanut powder, scrapped coconut, chopped coriander and salt to taste.
4. Mix all the ingredients well and make small balls. Heat oil in fry pan and deep fry the balls. Or if you want to use less oil you can shallow fry them on low flame by putting a bit of oil or ghee. You can serve them with sweet curd or coconut chutney.
They make a good snack item for fasting and otherwise as well!
