Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced a new QR code for e-base. In this QR code, now there will also be photo along with the demographic information of the holder. To make offline verification of any indigenous, UIDAI has now made a new update on e basis.
New code verification will be easy
So far, this code contained only information related to the holder. The new code will also have photo. Let us tell you that QR code is a form of the barcode label. The machine can read hidden information in it. The e-base is an electronic version of a special number of 12 digits which can be downloaded from the UIDAI website. Ajay Bhushan Pandey, CEO of UIDAI, says that this is a simple offline mechanism, which will soon verify the reality of an aadhaar card.
Will change your 'base'
Authorities say that institutions such as banks can now also get verification of aadhaar card offline. Ajay Bhushan, CEO of UIDAI said, "This is a simple 'offline' system for quick verification of aadhaar card." He said that there will also be a photo on e-base, so it will be easy to identify that the identification card is the only card.
Will get all the amenities
The e-base QR code reader software is available on the website of Nodal Body from 27 March 2018. According to sources, this option of offline verification will be available to another option and it will be ensured that the aadhaar card holder is not denied any facility related to the basis.
Beta version of Virtual ID was released
UIDAI recently released a beta version of Virtual ID. It can be generated on the UIDAI website. After generating this 16-digit ID, you will be able to give this ID for base verification anywhere. You will be able to verify your identity only through virtual ID and no need to provide aadhaar card number. UIDAI has taken this step in view of the inevitability of aadhaar card and threat of privacy. This 16-digit ID will also be verified for your address and photo.
