We all are familiar with the term evolution, right ? In simple layman's language, it is the transformation of different species into more advanced forms which results from their adaptation to their surroundings.
But there is more to evolution than one can think about. Have you ever wondered that this evolution has also led to the evolution of our most significant sensors, the eyes!
When life started on earth, the very first living species or the micro-organisms had no eyes or anything to sense light. From that, evolution resulted in existence of 1-dimension (1D) vision and then 2D vision and finally the 3D vision in later species to come.
Now in our present forms, we evaluate everything true or false with the capability of our eyes rendering us 3D vision!
Wait wait wait ! We say that everything is in Three dimension just because our eyes can see 3D. Donit you think it's our eyes inability to just see till 3D rather than its ability.
Let us suppose ants, who have 2D vision, were able to think and talk just like us. Then would we ever be able to convince them that the earth what they see , is three dimensional rather than being two dimensional which they perceive? Won't you laugh when an ant scientist would fight with you trying to prove you that earth was actually 2 dimensional ?
Well don't laugh too soon because you could be someone's laughing subject if they posses a vision beyond 3 dimensional vision which quite truly can be a possibility in the coming times considering the versatility of evolution. But what would be the fate of human existence after that?
Don't you now think that all unsolved mysteries are unsolved because the science that we count on is based on our three dimensional mindset? Is it not quite naive for us to assume everything to be three dimensional and construct the fundamentals of logical understanding of universe based on it?
Well the fact it is quite the need to consider various possibilities of universe and not accept the things as it is and question everything to evolve our understandings of the universe. Maybe we could then be able to dig the reasons of the unsolved mysteries of universe.
So is it alright to believe our eyes?
