The Grand Middle Class Struggle
Category : THOUGHTS Author : Rahul Gairola Date : Tue Nov 07 2017
Life being born in a middle class in INDIA is always in a Dilemma. Neither we can claim the below poverty line (BPL) to have the free facilities from government of INDIA, nor we can enjoy the prestige and facilities of so called high class standards in INDIA.
So where do we stand ...??
Honestly life starts with a grand struggle for a middle class, from taking birth in a hospital to first admission in a nursery school and till you complete your engineering or BA degree from a college. You are always in a race with lots of lots of people like you....
Now comes the grand celebration day and you are ready to search a decent job for you. You may be amazed to see that people standing in the line of getting job is far far more than what you might have expected. And when your job search struggle continues for a long time, this line also gets longer day by day.
From getting the petrol tank filled to getting the ration for your house, from bus and railways to never ending traffic jams, you are now already familiar with this kind of stuff every day. But still you are happy and hopeful for a brighter day every morning.
This hope is the beauty of INDIA...
We MIDDLE CLASS get irritated and frustrated everyday by the way our system works, our government works, the low or absent facilities for us. But at the end of day, the bad memories and struggle are erased from our memory when we go to bed and next day we start afresh.
This is Hope..
Being middle class is after all not that bad.
You can't choose to be born in a particular family but definitely you can choose your life standard at the time of your death. Middle class happier moments are enjoying festivals with family, having dinner together everyday. When petrol prices get down by even 1 rupee, we are happy. When a mobile app is offering us 10 rupees cashback on recharge we are happy.
So basically it is really that easy to make a middle class person HAPPY .. :)
Stay happy and enjoy the middle class status.
Its after all not that bad seriously.
